Role handover and internal training
The way a key role works should not remain in one person’s head. A long absence, an unplanned departure or the arrival of a new employee should not block the rest of the business for weeks.
We help capture that know-how, put it into practical written resources and then check that another person can genuinely take over the role.
Quoted after an initial conversation about your situation. There is no standard price: the scope depends on the number of roles and their complexity.
What you receive at the end of the engagement.
Practical deliverables designed to be used on the job, not left in a folder.
Practical guides for each role
Each role covered receives its own guides: the steps in the right order, instructions to follow, checks to carry out and special cases to know about.
Short internal training for each role
A short session, built around the guides, for the person taking over. Short videos are added only when they genuinely help explain an action or sequence.
Handover test
A competent replacement, selected with you, performs the role using only the materials provided. Anything missing is corrected before the engagement ends.
How the engagement works.
A short process spread over a few weeks, depending on the number of roles, without disrupting day-to-day work.
Interviews We speak with the role holder and their manager to understand the real role, its priorities and sensitive points.
Observation of the actual work We look at the work as it is really done, including exceptions, rather than how it is described in theory.
Writing and review The guides are written, then reviewed and corrected with the people who perform the work every day.
Training and testing The short training is delivered, then the handover test confirms whether the materials are sufficient.
An optional AI assistant.
The training remains centred on people and the practical guides. An AI assistant can be added to answer common questions about the role.
What it does
It answers only from the validated documents and procedures you entrust to us. It respects each person’s access rights, so everyone sees only what concerns them.
What it is not
It is not the heart of the training. It is another way to access the guides. Human explanations and practice in the role remain the basis of the handover.
The role of people.
What this engagement is not
It does not replace professional qualifications, experience or any approvals required for your activity, including authorisations, regulatory checks and signatures.
An honest limit
Know-how that was not captured in time cannot be reconstructed with certainty. That is precisely why it is better to transfer it while the role holder is still there.
The goal is to keep a role manageable during an absence, departure or new arrival through accurate materials and trained people, not to document everything just in case.
Do you have a role to hand over soon?
Describe the situation: a planned departure, a new arrival to prepare for or dependence on one key person. The service is quoted after we define the scope with you.
